Weekend SmallChange: I Bitch Too Much
I didn’t do so well. A couple of things I learned:
1) My thoughts are much more negative than I realized.
2) Health and energy matters. Lack of sleep made me much more negative.
3) If I practiced this until I could go 21 days without complaining, I think my brain’s wiring would change considerably.
I you’ve tried this challenge – especially if you’ve been successful for 21 days – I would love to hear insights, tips, and tricks for success. I think I’ll take this up in the new year and go for real.

Maria,
Have been appreciating these “lifestyle experiments”.
It’s pretty easy as PMs to get into a “risk focus” (aka bi—ing”). Twenty one days without complaining is a pretty good goal.
If anyone else wants to attempt this with another person, I’m willing!

I am definitely going to have to try this out. I probably have a more negative than positive attitude as of recently. I had adjusted that relatively well for a couple of months, but it tanked last month, so I could use a change.
