		<description>This is an excellent post and rings true for me because I&#039;ve been thinking about this since seeing an Oprah show about a month ago on the topic of consumerism. Just how much is enough?! 

The other thing is that the more we buy, the more clutter there is and the more stuff we have to &quot;manage&quot;. For years I&#039;ve only been buying things that I love but lately I&#039;ve been focusing on other ways that I can cut back and buy used instead of new.

That a sense of abundance leads to contentment with what we have is not emphasised enough I think.  So often it seems to be used as a cover for our discontent - and buying more to make up for our lack.
