Happy Birthday to Aaron!

Today is Aaron Potts’ birthday, and the very thoughtful Patricia from the Personal Development Partners’ discussion boards has suggested that all of us with blogs write him a birthday wish post. I’m happy to contribute.
I’ve only been a member at PDP since October 2007 (I’ve written about this great community here), but in that time I’ve become very familiar with Aaron’s work. He not only runs PDP, he also has websites and blogs at Today is That Day and Fitness Destinations. As I wrote recently, one of my compass directions for the coming year is to add a lot of value for readers of my site, and Aaron is a huge inspiration and great example to me in this process.
Aaron has made some tough decisions at PDP recently. Previously, free members at PDP received access to just about all of the functionality on the site. However, very few were participating in discussions - which is the whole point of having a community dedicated to personal development. Aaron made the decision that free membership just isn’t a good option for this community. The great news is that a Premium Membership only costs $20 for 6 months and it comes with access to an already large and growing list of electronic products that are worth many times that amount. The support from the community is even more valuable.
The second change that Aaron has made at PDP is to offer his eBook Energy Harmonics (which he normally sells for $22) as a product download AND start a coaching category on the site for developing the skills taught in the book. In short, he is GIVING AWAY unlimited coaching on one of his signature products for as long as you are a member of the site.
Bravo, Aaron. I really look forward to learning from your example and your materials in the coming year.
If you would like to support this blog, why not buy me a coffee? $1 for regular brew, $5 for a vanilla latte.
